He probably has what you need/want for a reasonable price.ĭo like the overseas guys do. You guys saying, you can't find parts/cars/whatever! Call him. He looks like any other down to earth, bearded, (unshaven ) redneck/biker/hillbilly! John sent me a picture of him and his red '57 Fury. John, set two, 'tall boy' Keystone Light, beer cans down in the two cyls. So, I got that car John sold me, for a 'reasonable' $750 shipping ! (that took many, many weeks traveling time )īTW, John, (Big M ) contributed to my can collection! The head was off the motor in the parts car. He would haul the car from Missouri to an exit on I-68 (a mile and a half form the house ) for $250! (+, a big bottle of shine ) John called me, and said, one of his buddies from the east coast here, ( Jim Paul ) was also comming to that auction to pick up parts, to sell at Fall Carlisle. Wifey and I was making plans to drive out either in Sept or Oct and pick the car up and meet one of the 'other' outlaw bikers on this site. and he was to haul the car up to "Corncobs" house, (25 miles form the auction side ) and drop it off. (John had bought several cars there ) Then, I was to pay a extra $25. He would haul the car to that big junkyard auction in Missouri. Shipping cost was more than I paid for the car!įinally, If, I agreed to pay John's driver $500. Problem, was getting the car from his place to mine. Mnay on this site commented on the chopped stationwagon in the background pictures. The car was pictured in the "Vehicles for sale" or "parts car" section, under "Pictures won't post" several months back. (If that car was ebayed, it would probably bid up to twice what I paid, just for the fenders and 1/4's! ) Traded some cash, + a case of 'hi-test' moonshine. I got my parts car, (probably the last pr of, for sale, MINT '58 fenders on the planet ) much needed, MINT, fenders, rockers, and 1/4's, from John Flowie. Wise Old Village Idiot Posts: 3591 Location: Dellslow, West ("By God") Virginia !
